12:00 - 20 minutes Warmup + Strides, Nike Skylon Mk3's, felt light headed, depletion? [ 3 Miles]

On this day:

80 Minutes, containing structured fartlek (11.5 Miles approx)

I ran 80 minutes with Neil, containing 4 x (3 min, 2 min, 1 min) off 1 minute recoveries on the beach, in my Saucony Fastwitch. It was very windy, and I ran like a sack of spanners! My Heart Rate Average was 158, and it maxed out at 180. The wind seemed to have a negative effect on me getting my HR up.

30:00 Steady (4.5 Miles Approx)

Ran the 'Brean Down loop' with Neil, 30 minutes worth of running. He's a much better descender than me, and I took the stair climb way too quick. Its a nice picturesque loop though!

I ran 30 minutes easy around West Park in Long Eaton with Neil in my Nike Skyons Mk2's. I felt rather sluggish to say the least. I think yesterday's 10 took more out of me than Neil!
