On this day:

35 minutes steady, sans breakfast (5.5 Miles Approx)

I ran the Kennet canal loop with Rob in my second pair of blue NB 832's (I've dumped the grey ones as they were shot). We covered it in 33:10, at a steady effort again (but not eye-ball busting effort, as per Barry's briefing), so we tagged on an extra 2 minutes, making the run total 36:10. Knee felt average, think it is improving though. I also tried to swing my arms in the manner described by Barry, specifically more of a loosely clenched hand and more towards the mid-line of my body. It doesn't feel that weird at all (as I haven't been doing my judo-chop style for that long!), and it certainly feels more compact (less 'gangly'), which I guess equates to more efficieny. I will have to remember to practice it during tonights run!

(Oh, apparantly from my pacing you could 'tell I'd been doing 800's last night'! I think that's a good thing?)
