On this day:

4 Miles easy, sans breakfast & untimed

Ran 1 lap of Prospect Park with the M.P.U. in my grey NB 834's. Right knee is really sore, yet I'm not carrying it & it doesn't seem to be getting any worse. I think I'm going to seek some advice on it.

On the topic of advice, I haven't had any coaching contact in about 3 weeks. Sadly, I've noticed that my training & racing is starting to suffer for it; I think I may be working myself too hard! To resolve this problem, which I can't really allow to go on for any longer, I'm now seeking a local coach. I've had some success down my club, as Senior Club Coach Roger Pritchard has said he'd set me a schedule, if I gave him my proposed Summer racing schedule. Also of promise is a contact I've made at Basingstoke & Mid Hants A.C. When I went down there last week, Martin Tarsey, Phil Tulba's coach (correction: joint coach sort-of-thing), expressed an interest in coaching me. I'm going to go down there tonight for a light session to discuss this further. Keep your fingers crossed for me!..

Hey Craig. I'm sure Andy would be more than happy to help you out. He'd like to hear from you, believe me! Help you to get back running niggle free, enjoying it, just to give you some advice.

Bob, weekend of 28th would suit me fine! I've got my Uni Summer Ball this weekend, plus the new dog, plus the Hants 5k, so this weekend would have been impossible. Ring me tomorow & we'll discuss it further...

Neil, I'll reply to you via email mate, give me a mo though...
