Intended to go out for an easy 5-ish, around my Cumbrian Way, Kennet & Avon Canal, Circuit lane loop (in my blue NB 832's). As I had the company of Richard 'Middle Distance Sensation' Weir, I ended up running it in a new course best (by some 2:30!) of 30:24... I definitely couldn't have put enough in yesterday. Having said that, I got hamstring cramp watching Reading play on Sky yesterday afternoon, so I must have been trying just a little bit. That or Reading are so cr@p that watching them induces injury . No real repurcussions from the run this morning, my shins or hip from last week, or my race/cramp of yesterday. Take it easy for a few days and things should be A-OK on the injury/niggle front.
